A coronal hole has opened up in the sun's northern hemisphere. A coronal hole allows the sun's solar wind to escape. This means that plasma is escaping into space. Said plasma is expected to reach the Earth's magnetic field sometime June 23 through 24, 2013. This also means there is a higher chance of seeing Auroras.
